Lisbon rewards arrivals that are unhurried and well-considered: tiled façades catching late light, the Tagus opening west toward the Atlantic, hill roads that ask something of a car. The Aston Martin DBX answers in kind — composed under power, quietly emphatic in the city, sure-footed on the coast roads beyond it.
Handover, on Your Terms
We meet guests at Lisbon Airport (LIS) with a discreet kerbside handover, paperwork already prepared and the cabin set to your preferences. For those arriving by private terminal or settling first into a suite along Avenida da Liberdade, in Chiado, or in Belém, we deliver directly to the hotel concierge at a time you nominate. Weekend city breaks, multi-day executive bookings, and one-way returns from Cascais or Sintra are accommodated with prior notice.
Drives Worth the Detour
- The A5 west to Cascais — roughly thirty minutes, opening onto the Marginal coastal road at Estoril.
- Sintra's serra by way of the N247, vineyards and shaded curves before Cabo da Roca.
- An evening run along Avenida da Liberdade into Chiado for dinner, valet handled at the door.
- The A1 north toward Comporta or, on a longer weekend, the wine country above Évora via the A2.
- A morning in Belém — Jerónimos, the river, pastéis — with the DBX parked within easy reach.
The Car Itself
The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 carries a low, considered baritone — assertive when asked, otherwise content to murmur through PrĂncipe Real at dusk. Air suspension absorbs Lisbon's calçada and tram rails without complaint, while the hand-stitched cabin, in leather and brogued detailing, makes the longer reach to the Alentejo feel shorter than it is.
A car that listens before it speaks.
Practical Notes
Comprehensive insurance is included as standard, with optional reductions to excess. The DBX takes premium unleaded; we deliver fuelled and ask the same in return. Mileage allowances and driver requirements are confirmed at booking.
