Luxury Car Rental at Lisbon Airport

DeluxeDrive is a Portuguese luxury car rental company with its own fleet — the cars on this site are ours, known to us by registration plate, not listings we broker from third parties. For arrivals at Lisbon Airport (Humberto Delgado, LIS), we bring the car to you: share your flight number when you book, we track your arrival including any delay, and a member of our team meets you at the terminal with the car detailed, fuelled and ready.

The handover takes 15 to 20 minutes: a walkaround together, photographs of the car’s condition, a digital contract signed on the spot, and the security deposit. Then the keys are yours. On the day you fly home, we collect the car back at the airport at your departure time.

One thing we say plainly: Lisbon Airport delivery is not free. Our base is in the Algarve, about two and a half hours away on the A2, so Lisbon deliveries are scheduled in advance and carry a fixed fee — €369 for an SUV, €554 for a sports car, VAT included — always confirmed in writing before you book. In the Algarve, including Faro Airport, delivery and collection are free.

Every price you see on this page is the real daily rate with 23% Portuguese VAT already included. The quote you receive on WhatsApp is the final figure — nothing is added at the end.

Lisbon Airport sits unusually close to the city, which means the good roads begin almost immediately. West of Lisbon, the Marginal — the coast road through Belém, Oeiras and Estoril to Cascais — is the classic first drive: the Tagus opening into the Atlantic on your left, forts and beach cafés on the way, and Guincho beach and the Sintra hills waiting beyond Cascais.

For Sintra, take the A37 out of the city, then trade the motorway for the N247 around the coast — past the Cabo da Roca lighthouse at continental Europe’s westernmost point — or climb into the serra itself among the palaces. In a convertible on a clear day, the Sintra coast road is one of the best hours of driving in the country.

South is our favourite direction: over the Ponte 25 de Abril with the city behind you, down the A2, and onto the N379-1 through the Serra da Arrábida — a ribbon of road pinned between limestone cliffs and a sea that reads Caribbean-blue in summer. It is arguably Portugal’s most beautiful stretch of tarmac, forty-five minutes from the terminal.

Lisbon Airport deliveries are scheduled in advance — our base is in the Algarve, around two and a half hours away on the A2, so we plan the trip around your flight rather than promising what we cannot control. The delivery fee is fixed and confirmed in writing before you book: €369 for an SUV, €554 for a sports car, VAT included. No estimates, no surprises on the invoice.

The car is returned with the same fuel level it was delivered with.

You do not have to return the car where you collected it. Many clients pick up at Lisbon Airport and drop the car at a villa in the Algarve, or the reverse — collection anywhere we serve can be agreed in the quote. If plans change mid-rental, it is one WhatsApp message to the people who hold the contract.
