Delivery inside the resort
Vale do Lobo is a gated beach-and-golf resort, and we deliver wherever suits you: at the resort gate, or straight to the villa door. The handover takes 15 to 20 minutes — a walkaround of the car together, photographs of its condition, a digital contract signed on the spot, and the deposit — and then the keys are yours, with the Praça and the beach a few minutes down the hill.
One practical note that matters here more than in the old towns: the resort roads are wide, well-surfaced and easy, so there is no car on our fleet that does not fit Vale do Lobo. A Cullinan or a G63 that we would honestly talk you out of for a week of historic town centres is entirely at home between the villa, the golf courses and the beach.
Life within ten minutes of the villa
The geography is the luxury: the Royal and Ocean golf courses are inside the resort, the Praça by the beach is the natural end to the day, and neighbouring Quinta do Lago is a short drive along the coast. The Almancil dining scene — one of the densest concentrations of serious restaurants in the Algarve — is ten minutes inland, which is precisely the trip a beautiful car turns from an errand into a pleasure.
Further out, the car earns a full day: the N2 over the Serra do Caldeirão for the Algarve’s best driving road, the coast west to Albufeira and Lagos, or east through Faro and the Ria Formosa towards Tavira. From Vale do Lobo you start every route from the middle of the map.
Fly in, drive to the villa
Faro Airport is around twenty minutes from the resort, and we meet arrivals there free of charge. Share your flight number when you book — we track the flight, delays included — and a member of our team meets you at the arrivals hall with the car detailed, fuelled and ready. The handover takes 15 to 20 minutes and you drive to Vale do Lobo in your own car rather than a transfer.
Bring a valid driving licence held for at least one year — international licences are accepted — your passport or ID, and a credit card for the deposit. The minimum age is 18. On departure day, we collect at the villa or meet you back at the airport at your departure time, whichever suits.
How delivery works
Once the booking is confirmed, we agree an exact time and place — the resort gate, the villa door or Faro Airport arrivals. The car arrives cleaned, checked and with its fuel level recorded in the contract. The handover takes 15 to 20 minutes: walkaround together, photographs of the condition, digital contract and deposit.
The deposit is a pre-authorisation on a credit card or another method agreed in advance, fixed per car — from €2,000 — and released after the car comes back in the same condition. The car is returned with the same fuel level it was delivered with.
On the return day we come to you, check the car over together, and everything closes on the spot. Because we are ten minutes away, mid-stay changes — an extra day, a different car for the second week — are unusually easy here.

What is included in the price
Insurance
Every car runs with valid motor insurance in Portugal. The coverage level for your rental is set out in the contract; additional coverage options are available on selected cars — ask when you request your quote.
Mileage
Between 100 and 150 km per day depending on the car, stated on each model’s page. Need more? Tell us before delivery and we include an additional-mileage package in the quote.
Transparent deposit
A fixed amount per car, confirmed in writing before you book — from €2,000. Pre-authorisation on a credit card or another agreed method, released after the car is returned without damage.
Fuel
The car is delivered with its fuel level recorded in the contract and returned at the same level. No surprise refuelling charges.
Free Algarve delivery
