Rent a supercar in Portugal, from the 911 to the SF90

This page is for people who want to drive, not just arrive. DeluxeDrive is a licensed Portuguese rental company with a fleet of supercars and exotic cars. Ferrari runs from the California and Portofino through the F8 Spider, 296 GTS and 296 GTB to the 812 and the SF90 Stradale. Lamborghini means the Huracán and the Sterrato, plus the Urus. There is also the McLaren 720S, the Porsche 911 and Boxster, and the Audi R8. Every one of them is owned or operated by us, and when you message us you speak to the people who prepare and deliver the car.

Renting an exotic car is not like renting a holiday SUV. The experience is measured in roads, not calendar days: a morning in the hills, lunch somewhere worth the drive, the coast at sunset. Rentals start from a single day, subject to availability, and we agree the delivery and collection times around your plans.

Every price on this page is a listed daily rate with 23% Portuguese VAT included. Ferrari starts at €800 per day for the California and Lamborghini at €1,450 for the Huracán. A Porsche 911 Carrera S is €830 and the McLaren 720S is €1,980. Your written quote sets out the price for your dates, the security deposit and the mileage allowance before you book, and longer rentals can bring the daily rate down.

We deliver free of charge anywhere in the Algarve, including Faro Airport. Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra are served by arrangement, at a fixed delivery fee that depends on the car and is quoted in writing before you book.

Which supercar for which drive

For mountain roads, choose a car that talks to you through the corners. The N2 over the Serra do Caldeirão, north of São Brás de Alportel, is the best driving road in the Algarve and natural territory for a Porsche 911, a Lamborghini Huracán or an Audi R8. Near Lisbon, the same role is played by the Serra de Sintra and the coast road past Cabo da Roca.

For the coast, the argument is the roof. Take a Ferrari F8 Spider or 296 GTS between Quinta do Lago and Sagres, a Portofino or California along the Marginal from Lisbon to Cascais, or a Boxster or 911 Cabriolet for two unhurried days. Portugal with the roof down is a different country.

Exotic car rental in Lisbon

We deliver supercars to Lisbon by arrangement: to your hotel on Avenida da Liberdade, a villa in Cascais or Sintra, or the arrivals hall at Lisbon Airport. Our base is in the Algarve, about two and a half hours away on the A2, so Lisbon deliveries are scheduled in advance and carry a fixed delivery fee that depends on the car. The fee is quoted in writing before you book and is never added afterwards.

The drives around Lisbon suit a supercar well. There is the Marginal from Belém through Estoril to Cascais, and the N247 past Guincho beach and Cabo da Roca into the Serra de Sintra. Head south over the Ponte 25 de Abril and you reach the N379-1 through the Serra da Arrábida, one of the most beautiful roads in the country.

One honest piece of advice: leave the car in a garage when you explore Alfama, Bairro Alto and Mouraria. Their steep, narrow, tram-lined streets are no place for a wide, low supercar, and they are better on foot anyway.

Supercars in the Algarve

Our base is in Almancil, in the Golden Triangle near Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, so Algarve deliveries are short runs and always free: villas, hotels, marinas, golf resorts and Faro Airport, about fifteen minutes away. Collection at the end is free too, at the place and time agreed in your booking.

From there, the best roads are close. There is the N2 over the Serra do Caldeirão, the climb to Monchique and Fóia, and the N268 along the Costa Vicentina towards Sagres. Each makes a fine half-day. Most cars include 100 to 150 km per day, and the allowance for your car is confirmed in your quote, so if you want to string several of these roads together, tell us and we include extra kilometres in your quote.

One-day supercar rental, and the deposit

A single day is often the natural format for a supercar, subject to availability for your dates. We deliver the car to your hotel or villa at the agreed time, the day is yours, and we collect it at the time agreed in your booking. If it is a birthday or anniversary surprise, tell us and we will plan the delivery time with you.

Supercars are serious machines and we treat them that way. Deposits are higher than on our SUVs and saloons, for example €4,000 on the Ferrari California, €10,000 on the Lamborghini Huracán, €15,000 on the McLaren 720S and Ferrari 812, and €17,250 on the Ferrari SF90 Stradale. The deposit is always stated on the car’s page and in your quote. On the most powerful cars we may also ask about your driving experience before we confirm the booking.

The ground rules

A few rules apply to every rental, and they matter most on the fastest cars. They are set out in our terms and in the rental agreement you sign:

Every driver must be at least 18 and have held a full driving licence for at least one year, and must show it with a passport or national ID card. Some licences issued outside the EU also need an International Driving Permit.
Only drivers named in the rental agreement may drive the car. Additional drivers are welcome when they meet the same requirements and are named.
No racing, track days or driving instruction. The cars are for the road.
The car stays in mainland Portugal unless we have authorised a trip abroad in writing in advance.

Delivery, handover and collection

Once your booking is confirmed, we agree the exact time and place: the door of your hotel, your villa, or the arrivals hall at Faro Airport or Lisbon Airport. In the Algarve, delivery and collection are free. In Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra they are scheduled in advance at the fixed fee for your car, quoted in writing before you book.

The handover usually takes 15 to 20 minutes. We walk round the car together, photograph its condition, check your licence and ID, and set up the security deposit, which is held as a card pre-authorisation or paid and refunded after the rental, whichever method is agreed at booking. On a supercar we add five well-spent minutes on the car itself: the drive modes, the roof on the convertibles, and the ramps and kerbs to watch for.

At the end, we come to you. We check the car together at the agreed place and time, and the deposit is released or refunded after the inspection, less any itemised charges under the rental agreement. There is no need to refuel first: any fuel missing against the level at delivery is charged at cost. If one day turns out not to be enough, ask us on WhatsApp and we will extend the rental if the car is available.

VAT

Every price includes 23% Portuguese VAT. No taxes are added on top of your quote.

Insurance

Every rental is insured. The cover and any excess for your car are set out in your quote and in the rental agreement you sign.

Mileage

Most cars include 100 to 150 km per day. The allowance for your car is on its page or in your written quote; extra kilometres are charged at that car’s per-km rate, or included in your quote if you tell us in advance.

Security deposit

A fixed amount per car, stated on the car’s page: from €4,000 on the Ferrari California and Porsche Boxster to €17,250 on the Ferrari SF90 Stradale.

Delivery and collection

Free anywhere in the Algarve, including Faro Airport. Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra at a fixed fee that depends on the car, quoted before you book.

Fuel

The car is delivered with fuel. There is no need to refuel before we collect it: any fuel missing against the level at delivery is charged at cost.

Can I rent a supercar for just one day?

Yes. Rentals start from a single day, subject to availability for your dates, which suits a birthday, an anniversary or a drive through the hills. We deliver the car to your hotel or villa and collect it at the time agreed in your booking. If you want to keep it longer, ask us by message and we will extend the rental if the car is available.

Do you deliver supercars to Lisbon?

Yes, by arrangement. We deliver to hotels and villas in Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra and to the arrivals hall at Lisbon Airport. Our base is in the Algarve, so Lisbon deliveries are scheduled in advance and carry a fixed delivery fee that depends on the car, quoted in writing before you book.

Is delivery free in the Algarve?

Yes. Delivery and collection are free anywhere in the Algarve, including Faro Airport, hotels, villas, resorts and marinas. Faro Airport is about fifteen minutes from our base in Almancil.

How big is the security deposit on a supercar?

How many kilometres are included?

Most cars include between 100 and 150 km per day. The exact allowance for your car is on its page or in your written quote, and in your rental agreement. Kilometres beyond the allowance are charged at that car’s per-km rate. If you plan a longer route, tell us in advance and we include extra kilometres in your quote.

Can I take the car on a track day or abroad?

No track days: racing, track days and driving instruction are not permitted under our terms. The car also stays in mainland Portugal unless we have authorised a trip abroad in writing in advance, and authorisation, where granted, may require additional insurance arrangements.
