Cascais rewards a car with presence. Between the granite ridges of Sintra, the Atlantic swell at Guincho, and the marina's quiet evenings, the Mercedes-AMG G63 moves through this coastline with the composure of something built for terrain it rarely needs to prove itself on.
Handover Along the Estoril Coast
We deliver to private villas in Quinta da Marinha and Birre, to the lobby of any hotel between Estoril and Guincho, and directly to Cascais Marina. Beach club drop-offs at Praia do Guincho and Praia da Conceição are arranged with advance notice. Each handover includes a considered briefing on routes, parking conventions in the historic centre, and the quieter approaches into Sintra when the IC30 thickens in summer.
Drives This Car Was Made For
- The N247 north to Cabo da Roca, where the road narrows above the Atlantic and the V8 settles into a low, deliberate gait
- A morning ascent to Sintra via Malveira da Serra, ending at Palácio da Pena before the coaches arrive
- The short run to Boca do Inferno at first light, then breakfast back at the marina
- An evening arrival at Casino Estoril, where the G63 finds its natural register under the portico lights
- The A5 into Lisbon — twenty minutes door to door — for dinner in PrĂncipe Real
The Car on These Roads
The hand-built 4.0-litre biturbo V8 produces a tone that carries across the Serra de Sintra without ever feeling hurried. Inside, Nappa leather and the twin widescreen displays make long coastal hours unremarkable in the best sense. The adaptive damping absorbs the cobbled stretches near the old town and the broken tarmac above Guincho with equal indifference.
The Atlantic on one shoulder, granite on the other, and nothing between you and either.
Practical Notes
Comprehensive insurance with a reduced excess is included, alongside theft protection and roadside assistance across Portugal. The G63 takes premium unleaded; expect real-world consumption in keeping with the car's character. A refundable security hold applies at handover.
